Dear Brethren
I am very thankful for the opportunity given me to lead the GBSC Laymen League into the Prison Ministry. I plan to schedule a ministry event every quarter. We are currently talking with Butner Federal Correctional Center to set up another date in December. Chaplain Johnson is working on a date at the medium level center. As soon as I get the new date, I will contact all the volunteers that are approved and we will make plans to attend. We have also contacted other correctional centers in the hopes of having all three quarters in 2011 booked. Please keep us in your prayer as we move forward in the ministry.
I also want to thank the men that attended the first ministry event at Butner FF in Butner NC. The chaplain gave us a good review and is looking forward to seeing the State Laymen in the future. Again I thank the State officers for allowing me to serve.
